Will was admitted as a Solicitor in 2005 and became an accredited specialist in Criminal Law before being called to the NSW Bar in 2015. After completing his General Service Officer First Appointment Course for commission to the Army Reserve, he received his Bachelor of Arts/Law with First Class Honours, and then went on to complete his Master of Laws at Sydney University. He gained experience working for Legal Aid and in the Bourke Office of the Aboriginal Legal Service before becoming a barrister.
