Trevor Monti QC graduated from Melbourne University with LL.B in 1971 and then worked as a solicitor for Labor/Trade Union-based firms until being called to the Victorian Bar in March 1976. He is presently a member of the following Bars: NSW, QLD, NT, SA, WA, TAS, NZ and Ireland.
At the Victorian Bar, Trevor has specialised in Trade Union/Labor-based litigation acting exclusively for workers at the Worker’s Compensation Board and Accident Compensation Tribunal until 1987 and from then in the County and Supreme Courts in both Jury and Judge alone trials. He has had an extensive circuit practice since 1980 in Northern Victoria at the Wangaratta, Wodonga and Shepparton Circuits, and he still attends these Circuits. Trevor took Silk in 2012 and he continues to practice at the Victorian Bar.
