Lucy was called to the Bar in 2016. From 2007, Lucy worked as an Associate in the litigation and arbitration group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York where she specialised in international commercial arbitration and investor-state disputes. Lucy is admitted to the New York Bar. Earlier in her career, Lucy was the legal assistant on the Krajisnik Defence team at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Lucy was also an Associate to the Hon. Justice von Doussa during his term as President of the Australian Human Rights Commission. For the past five years, Lucy has lectured in commercial law, contract and tort at the University of Sydney. Prior to leaving for New York, she also taught constitutional law.
