Jessica Palairet graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in 2019.
Before joining Shortland Chambers, Jessica worked for two years as a Judges’ Clerk at the Auckland High Court and was a Professional Teaching Fellow at the University of Auckland. While at University, Jessica won several mooting competitions, including the Stout Shield, and represented the University of Auckland at mooting internationally. She also won a number of academic prizes at University.
Jessica has a wide-ranging interest in civil and criminal litigation, with particular interest in public law and emerging technologies.
