Jesse has a broad international, commercial and public law practice and accepts briefs in all areas of law, including for appearances in courts and tribunals in Australia or New York, as well as before international arbitral tribunals, or courts and tribunals established under international treaties, wherever located.
Prior to joining the NSW Bar, Jesse was an attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York, where he specialised in international commercial arbitration and investor-state dispute settlement. While based in New York, he acted for sovereign states, foreign investors and some of the world’s largest conglomerates in high-profile arbitrations and cross-border litigations, involving jurisdictions such as England, Hong Kong, India and the United States.
