John Tarrant is Professor of Law at the University of Western Australia where he has taught in the area of remedies, contract, property and trusts.
He has published on a wide range of topics including contract, tort, property, corpoations law, insolvency, mining law, practice and procedure, disqualification for bias, and unit trusts. John is also a barrister at the Sydney bar, a public notary, and a military lawyer in the Royal Australian Air Force Specialist Reserve.
Before becoming an academic, he held positions in the mining and oil and gas industries as an executive director of Australian and Canadian listed companies.
