Tess Vickery is a lawyer with a BA/LLB (Hons) from Macquarie University and a Masters of Animal Law from Lewis & Clark Law School. After practising in commercial and class action litigation for five years, she now specialises in animal law. She has published multiple academic articles on animal law issues, and has worked with the Animal Law Institute to bring consumer law litigation against negligent backyard puppy breeders. In 2020, Tess received the International Society for Animal Rights ‘Seeds Awards’ in recognition of her contribution to the emerging field of animal law.
