Eraine was admitted as a Solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court in 1981, admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court and Federal Court in 1984 and admitted to the Bar in October 2012. Her main practice areas are personal injury law and administrative law/judicial review with specific interest in refugee law and mental health law.
Eraine has been a Member of the Refugee Review Tribunal from July 1997 until September 2005, as well as a Member of the Mental Health Tribunal from September 2008 until February 2019. She has a varied career that has included being Acting Principal Lawyer at the NSW ICAC and a Senior Lawyer at the Human Rights Commission.
